Varroa is now with us and most beekeepers are using synthetic chemicals to treat their bees.

These Class 5 or 6 poisons accumulate in the wax and can contaminate the honey.  I DON’T USE THESE CHEMICALS!

I use labour intensive hyperthermia and occassional organic acid to control varroa levels to keep my honey pristine.
